A lot of people do not know the difference between swinging and cheating. Many people automatically think that swinging is a form of cheating. However, there is definitely a line, albeit a thin line there is still one there. You will find that a lot of couples practice swinging and are completely happy in their relationship.

Lies

It is all about honesty. Cheating is when you go behind your partners back and you have sex with another person without them knowing. If you are swinging behind your partners back you are cheating on them. However, if they are aware that you swing and are okay with it, then it is not cheating. It is also definitely not cheating if they are there.

Including

Many couples will swing together. This is most definitely not a form of cheating. If both you and your partner are aware of each of your other sexual partners, then this is simply a form of swinging. Whenever your partner knows that you have sex with this person and they are okay with it, then it is not something that one can technically call cheating.

Understanding

It all comes down to understanding. Even if your partner does not want to swing with you it does not mean that you are cheating. As long as you and your partner have boundaries set and they are okay with the sex that you have with others, then you are not cheating. As long as there are no lies in the relationship when it comes to sex, then there is no cheating.
